¿Qué son los Grupos Operativos?
Los Grupos Operativos, actores principales de la implementación de la AEI-Agri (Asociación Europea de Innovación en agricultura productiva y sostenible), son una de las herramientas clave en la ejecución del Programa Nacional de Desarrollo Rural 2014-2020 para impulsar la innovación en el sector agroalimentario y forestal dentro del ámbito europeo. Se trata de la agrupación de agentes de diferente perfil con intereses comunes, tales como agricultores, ganaderos, empresas, centros de investigación o de formación y divulgación, que se asocian para poner en marcha un proyecto de innovación con el objeto de dar una respuesta conjunta y multisectorial a un problema o necesidad.
Mediante la Resolución de 26 de febrero de 2019, del Fondo Español de Garantía Agraria, O. A. (FEGA) por la que se convocan ayudas para la concesión de subvenciones a la ejecución de proyectos de innovación de interés general por grupos operativos de la AEI-Agri, en el marco del Programa Nacional de Desarrollo Rural 2014-2020, para el año 2019, el grupo operativo “Soluciones innovadoras para predicción de enfermedades fúngicas en vid” (VITICAST) recibe una subvención de 599.957,11€ cofinanciada al 80% por el Fondo Europeo Agrícola de Desarrollo Rural (FEADER) y al 20% por fondos de la Administración General del Estado, como establece el Real Decreto 169/2018, de 23 de marzo.
La Dirección General del Desarrollo Rural, Innovación y Política Forestal, es la autoridad de gestión encargada de la aplicación de la ayuda del FEADER y nacional correspondiente.

What are the Operational Groups?
Operational Groups are the main actors in the implementation of the EIP-Agri (European Innovation Partnership for Agricultural productivity and sustainability), and one of the key tools for the execution of the National Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 for promoting innovation in the agri-food and forestry sectors within the European scope. They gather agents of different profiles with common interests, such as farmers, ranchers, companies, researchers or training and dissemination actors, who are associated to implement an innovation project in order to provide a joint and multi-sectorial response to a problem or need.
Through the Resolution of February 26 2019, of the Spanish Agrarian Guarantee Fund, O. A. (FEGA) by which the funds for the execution of innovation projects by EIP-Agri operational groups are managed, within the framework of the National Program for Rural Development 2014-2020, for the year 2019, the operational group «Innovative solutions for the prediction of fungal diseases in grapevine» (VITICAST) is funded by 599,957.11€, 80% co-funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) of the European Union and 20% by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, as established by the Real Decreto 169/2018 of March 23rd.
The General Directorate of Rural Development, Innovation and Forestry Policy is the managing authority in charge of applying the EAFRD and the corresponding national funds.
